2026 T20 World Cup Team of the Tournament: India have four players picked from winning squad, Will Jacks and Adil Rashid represent England

The 2026 T20 World Cup concluded with a thumping 96-run win for tournament hosts India over New Zealand, but which players have made the ICC's Team of the Tournament?

Four members of the victorious Indian side have been selected in the ICC's team announced on Monday, while two England players have been picked after their run to the semi-finals.

Player of the Tournament Sanju Samson leads the winning quartet, joined by team-mates Ishan Kishan, Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah following India's successful title defence.

Samson started the tournament on the outside of the India XI but shone with Player of the Match performances against West Indies and England before making the highest individual score in a men's T20 World Cup final with 89 against New Zealand.

Bumrah was named Player of the Match in the final as recognition for his super figures of 4-15, helping him finish as the tournament's joint-leading wicket-taker with 14 from his eight matches.

The top of the order also includes Pakistan's Sahibzada Farhan, who finished as the tournament's top run-scorer with 383 at an average of 76.60, headlined by a pair of centuries against Sri Lanka and Namibia.

England's Will Jacks slots into the middle-order thanks to his brilliant displays as an all-rounder, while team-mate Adil Rashid joins him in the side, after the leg-spinner took 13 wickets at 14.15 through the tournament.

Jacks regularly produced crucial performances to guide England home, earning him four Player of the Match awards through their eight matches.

Zimbabwe's Blessing Muzarabani earns a spot in the team as part of the pace attack, having been key to his side's superb group-stage performances, no more so than when taking 4-17 in the stunning upset of Australia.
